Account Manager
Job Description
Account managers typically manage a portfolio of accounts. They build client relationships, create account strategies, and work with internal teams to develop and implement client solutions. They also identify opportunities for account growth.
But for us, they are something more! They are the ones who demonstrate to clients all of our creative ideas, designs, and action plans. Their mission is to present our vision and then implement it most effectively, therefore our account managers are the Rhinos in charge of our jungle!
Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with teams and other departments, to develop effective advertising strategies based on the client’s needs.
- Create and present pitching presentations of the team’s proposals to clients.
- Brief creative teams in a simple, concise, yet inspiring manner, ensuring, at all times, that they are fully aware of the client’s requirements
- Become an essential member of the brainstorming process and guide the team, based on the client’s needs and brand image
- Review implementation timetables from the production and creative department, keep track of project progress according to schedules, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare and deliver cost proposals in collaboration with procurement, based on the project’s needs and the clients’ budget.
- Participate actively and manage meetings with clients.
- Gain insight into the purpose behind creative work and how it aligns with a client’s strategy
- Ensure that the creative output matches the client’s brief, as well as being compliant with all the necessary CI, legal, and regulatory requirements
- Analyse client’s marketing plans and advice accordingly
- Gather, share, and act upon feedback from the client on campaign work to build satisfaction and recognition of agency value
- Ensure that clients are aware of all the services the agency can offer
- Encourage teamwork and good communication
- Assist where possible with the coaching and development of more junior members of the team, for example, Account Executives
- Support your team by suggesting new ideas and questioning thinking where appropriate
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of service in an Advertising Company
- Proven experience in project management and client service & in combining digital marketing with BTL advertising
- Ability to manage a zoo of diverse accounts with finesse while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational and Leadership Skills with a spark of Creativity
- Enthusiasm, team spirit, and goal orientation
- University degree or a corresponding foreign title in Communication or Marketing, a master’s degree in a similar subject is desirable
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
